How the paper is built.
- GMAT exam (single sitting)
The GMAT does not use a fixed per-question mark scheme, so no integer values apply. It is a computer-adaptive test: question difficulty adjusts to performance in real time, and the scaled section score reflects the number of questions answered correctly, the difficulty of those questions, and other statistical characteristics of the items. There is NO negative marking — points are not deducted for a wrong answer. There is, however, a penalty for questions left unanswered at the end of a section, which is why the standard guidance is to guess on every remaining item rather than leave blanks. The three section scores are weighted equally in computing the Total Score.
With no deduction for a wrong answer the break-even accuracy is zero, and because unanswered items at the end of a section are penalised, blanks are strictly worse than guesses — always answer every question before the section timer expires (note that on an adaptive test a wrong answer still shapes the difficulty of what follows, so this is a rule about pacing, not a licence to guess early).
The calendar, and who can sit it.

- GMAC sets no minimum educational qualification, degree requirement or work-experience requirement to sit the exam. Individual business schools set their own admission prerequisites (typically a completed undergraduate degree), which are separate from exam eligibility.

- Up to 5 attempts in any rolling 12-month period, counting test-centre and online sittings combined. A minimum of 16 days must elapse between attempts. There is no lifetime attempt cap — the former lifetime limit is absent from GMAC's current official Policies and Procedures document. Two special bars apply: a candidate who has achieved a perfect Total Score of 805 must wait 5 years before testing again, and a candidate who requests deletion of their GMAC account must wait 5 years before testing again. A cancelled score still counts toward the rolling 12-month total.

- Open to candidates of any nationality. The exam is administered worldwide except where prohibited, subject to US and applicable local law; some locations impose additional registration, tax or identification requirements.

How can I see different explanations of a GMAT problem?
Open a learning unit in GMAT Learn and switch between the available teaching perspectives. Read the worked example and compare how each perspective explains the reasoning. After that, attempt a related practice question without the explanation open.
Where can I study GMAT Data Insights in JupiteX?
Open Learn and select Data Insights. Choose the topic you want to understand, then read its examples and explanations. Use a relevant published set in the practice-test area to apply the reasoning and review the question-type breakdown after submitting.
How do I practise GMAT Quant questions in JupiteX?
Open PYQ Bank and choose a Quant area. Attempt a question, select Check and read the worked rationale after your answer is graded. For concept explanations, open Quantitative Reasoning in Learn. The bank and Learn serve different parts of the same study session.
What does the GMAT PYQ Bank contain?
The bank provides Quant problem-solving material sourced from AQuA-RAT and groups it by area. Open an area to practise its questions and review the working. Verbal and Data Insights practice is available through Learn and the practice sets, rather than this Quant bank; do not treat it as a complete official GMAT paper archive.
Where do I practise GMAT Verbal Reasoning in JupiteX?
Open Learn, select Verbal Reasoning and choose a topic to study its explanations. Then open the practice-test area and choose an available set covering the skill you want to practise. The Quant-only PYQ Bank is a separate resource, so it is not the entry point for Verbal practice.
How do I start a GMAT mock test in JupiteX?
Open Mocks on the web or Mock on mobile, then select an available full test. On the web, Drill also lists the broader set catalogue. Complete the attempt and submit it to open the report with the section and question-type feedback available for that test.
How do I find my weak GMAT question types?
After submitting a practice test, look at By question type in the result. Compare the breakdown and inspect the wrong-question review. Where Drill similar is offered, use it to move into related practice; otherwise return to Learn and choose the relevant topic.
What should I do after getting a GMAT question wrong?
Open the question in the wrong-answer review and study the explanation. If the reasoning remains unclear, revisit the matching topic in Learn and compare its teaching perspectives. Use Drill similar when available to practise the question type again instead of simply memorising the answer.
Where can I track my GMAT preparation in JupiteX?
Open Today and look at Where you stand for the available score and section overview. Complete a mock to add practice evidence, then use the result breakdown to choose your next learning topic or set. New accounts may not yet have a projected score to display.
Are JupiteX GMAT scores official or guaranteed predictions?
No. The app's scores and projections describe practice performance, not an official GMAT result. Use section and question-type feedback to decide what to study next in Learn or Drill. An official score comes from taking the GMAT through its exam provider.
