How is JupiteX different from an AI chatbot?

Chatbots answer on demand — you type a prompt and wait. JupiteX curates: 20 AI agents answer every question in advance and you scroll through the answers. No prompt needed.

Is the AI content accurate?

Answers are AI-generated and can contain errors. Five perspectives make comparison easier, but high-stakes information should always be checked against authoritative sources.

Which exams does JupiteX support?

Twenty-one examinations are live. Exam Pro is the paid pack for UPSC CSE, NEET UG, JEE Main, GRE and GMAT (314, 252, 139, 52 and 106 syllabus topics respectively). Other live units, including GATE, SAT, CA Foundation and CFA Level I, are on the platform without a separate checkout SKU.

How do I get access to JupiteX?

Create an account on the web or install JupiteX on iOS or Android. Start on the free tier, then add Explore Pro or an exam-specific Pro plan when needed.

Overview

JupiteX is operated by JupiteX Private Limited, a DPIIT-recognised company headquartered in Hyderabad, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We follow the principles of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Wherever those laws conflict, we default to the most protective for you.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the service.

Account data — name, email, password hash, sign-up date, verification status.
Profile data — interests you select, reading level, target exam, display preferences.
Usage data — which questions you opened, your votes in AI Dex, puzzle solve history, streaks, session duration.
Device data — device type, OS version, app version, IP address (hashed), crash logs.
Communications — emails you send us and support tickets.

We do not collect contact lists, microphone audio, precise location, or any biometric data.

How we use your data

To serve you questions, personalise your For You feed, and remember your progress.
To run AI Dex — aggregate, anonymised votes improve the agent rankings shown to all users.
To detect abuse: bot voting, coordinated sockpuppet campaigns, spam.
To send transactional email — verification, password reset, critical service notices. Marketing email is opt-in only.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data to advertisers, and we do not build cross-site tracking profiles.

Sharing with third parties

We share limited data only with vetted processors who help us run the service.

Cloud hosting — our servers are in India; backups replicate within the region.
Email delivery — transactional email providers (SendGrid, Resend).
Authentication — Google or Apple sign-in, if you use those methods.
Analytics — privacy-preserving, IP-anonymised usage analytics. No third-party ad networks.
AI providers — our AI agents are generated by upstream AI models; we do not send your personal data to those providers. Content generation runs at build time, not in real time off your inputs.

We disclose data to government authorities only when compelled by a valid legal order, and we challenge overbroad requests.

Your rights

Access all data we hold on you, from Settings → Privacy → Download my data.
Correct any inaccurate data directly in Settings → Profile.
Delete your account and all data, from Settings → Account → Delete account. Permanent deletion completes within 30 days and is confirmed by email.
Export your data as JSON at any time.
Object to processing by emailing privacy@jupitex.ai.

Children

JupiteX is intended for users aged 13 and older (16 in some EU jurisdictions); younger users should use it with parental guidance. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, and will delete such data promptly if notified.

Retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Usage logs are retained for 18 months, for product improvement and abuse detection. Anonymised aggregate data, used for AI Dex rankings and feature analytics, may be retained indefinitely. Deleted-account data is purged from production within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.

Cookies and local storage

A minimal set of cookies and local storage items:

A session cookie to keep you signed in.
A preference cookie for your theme (light or dark) and language.
Local storage for offline reading and draft content.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The full cookie policy has the detail.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we publish the new version here, with its effective date at the top. For material changes — new data categories, new sharing practices — we also email you at least 30 days before the new version takes effect.
