About these terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and JupiteX Private Limited ("JupiteX", "we", "us") about your use of the JupiteX website and apps. By creating an account, buying a plan or using JupiteX, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy policy, our Refund and cancellation policy and our Community guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use JupiteX.

Our company details and Grievance Officer are listed at the end of these Terms.

Who can use JupiteX

You must be at least 13 years old. Under Indian law a person under 18 cannot enter into a binding contract, so if you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must read and accept these Terms, supervise your use of JupiteX, and make any purchase on your behalf. By letting a minor use JupiteX, the parent or guardian accepts these Terms and is responsible for that use.

A process for verifiable parental consent will be introduced before the children's-data obligations of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act commence on 13 May 2027.

Your account

• Give accurate sign-up details and a working email address, so we can reach you about security and your purchases.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Do not share accounts or access JupiteX by automated means without our written permission.
• You can delete your account at any time; see Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play; cancel that in your store account. It does turn off auto-renew on a plan paid with JupiteX billing.

What JupiteX provides

JupiteX provides knowledge content, exam preparation material, practice questions, practice tests, progress tracking and related features. Some features are free; others need a paid plan. We improve JupiteX continually and may add, change or remove features. If access you paid for is not delivered, our Refund policy explains what we do.

AI-generated content. Most explanations and study material on JupiteX are written in advance by AI models and checked before publication. They can still contain errors. They are for learning, not professional advice (medical, legal, financial or otherwise), and do not replace official syllabi, textbooks or qualified professionals. Scores, readiness estimates and predicted ranks are estimates, not guarantees. Read our Disclaimer.

No affiliation with exam bodies. JupiteX is independent. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Testing Agency, the Union Public Service Commission, ETS, GMAC, NBME, FSMB or any other examination body. Exam names are used only to describe what our material helps you prepare for, and belong to their owners.

Plans, prices and taxes

The current plans, what each includes, and prices are shown on our Pricing page and, in the apps, on the purchase screen before you pay. In the apps, the price and currency are set by the App Store or Google Play for your country and may differ from web prices. If you choose JupiteX billing in the Android app, you pay the same price the app shows for Google Play.

Whether a web price includes GST: yes, web prices include GST (currently 18%). Any applicable tax is shown before you confirm. We may change prices for future periods; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and for renewing plans we will tell you before it takes effect as the store or payment rules require.

Free trials

Explore Pro includes a 30-day free trial and each Exam Pro plan a 3-day free trial, where offered. One trial per plan per person.

• On the web, no payment is taken during a trial and nothing is charged when it ends unless you buy a plan.
• In the apps, a trial started through the App Store or Google Play turns into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel in your store account at least 24 hours before it ends.

Subscriptions bought in the iOS or Android app

• This section covers purchases billed by the App Store, and by Google Play in the Android app. In India the Android app may also offer JupiteX billing, which the next section covers instead.
• Payment is taken by Apple or Google to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period and at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You manage and cancel it in your store account settings, not in JupiteX. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refunds for store purchases are decided by Apple or Google under their policies. See our Refund policy for how to ask them.
• Apple's standard licence terms also apply to apps obtained from the App Store.

JupiteX billing in the Android app

• Who sells it. When you choose JupiteX billing, you buy the plan from JupiteX Private Limited, not from Google. We are responsible for the plan, the payment, GST, support and refunds. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments; we do not receive your full card or bank details.
• It renews automatically for the same period, at the price shown before you paid, until you turn off auto-renew. You authorise this as a recurring payment mandate, and you are notified before each charge.
• You can turn off auto-renew at any time in the app (Settings › Membership), at jupitex.ai/account/app-billing, or by cancelling the mandate in your UPI app or bank. This stops the next charge; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
• To move between a monthly and a yearly plan, turn off auto-renew and choose the other plan in the app once the current period has ended.
• Payments are not refundable, except for a duplicate charge, access we failed to provide, or where the law requires one. If a payment is refunded in full or reversed by your bank, the plan it paid for ends. See our Refund and cancellation policy.
• Google Play's refunds, subscription management and purchase approvals do not apply to these purchases.

Purchases on the website

• Web payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not receive your full card or bank details.
• A standard web purchase is a single prepaid period (a month or a year). Your access starts when payment is confirmed and ends when that period ends.
• If we offer automatic renewal (Autopay) on the web and you choose it, you authorise a recurring payment mandate. As RBI rules require, you will receive a notice at least 24 hours before each charge, you can cancel the mandate at any time from your JupiteX billing page or your bank or UPI app, and cancellation takes effect before the next charge.
• Web purchases are not refundable, and you can cancel any time. Cancelling stops future renewal but does not refund the current period. The limited exceptions are set out in our Refund and cancellation policy.

Our content and your licence

The questions, explanations, practice tests, software and design of JupiteX belong to JupiteX Private Limited or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning while your account is in good standing.

You may not:

• Copy, scrape or download the content library in bulk, or mirror it elsewhere.
• Sell, share or redistribute our content, including paid exam material, or share your account to do so.
• Use our content to train or evaluate AI models without our written permission.
• Remove agent names, attribution or notices.

You may quote short excerpts with attribution and link to our pages.

Content you post

You own the comments and other content you post. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display and use it to operate JupiteX, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

You must not post anything that is unlawful; belongs to someone else; is obscene, invades someone's privacy, or harasses or insults on grounds of gender, religion, caste or ethnicity; harms children; is deliberately false or misleading, including impersonation; threatens India's unity, security or public order; contains malware; or otherwise breaks our Community guidelines. We may remove content and restrict accounts that break these rules, and we act on court and government orders as the law requires.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to bypass sign-in, paywalls, rate limits or security controls, or probe JupiteX for vulnerabilities (report them to [email protected] instead).
• Do not create fake accounts or use automation to manipulate streaks, leaderboards, likes or reports.
• Do not use JupiteX to cheat in an actual examination or to break an institution's rules.
• Do not interfere with other users or with the operation of the service.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, harms others, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable we warn first; where there is active harm we act immediately.

To appeal a moderation decision, email [email protected]. Someone not involved in the original decision reviews it within 7 business days.

Disclaimers and liability

JupiteX is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that using it will lead to any particular exam result.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law that cannot be excluded.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please raise any complaint with us first (see Grievance redressal). Subject to your right to approach a consumer commission or other forum the law gives you, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We publish each version here with the date it takes effect and tell you in advance, by email or in the app, about changes that materially affect you. If you continue to use JupiteX after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can stop using JupiteX and delete your account.
